The Shining

This classic ghost story taken from the book written by the king of horror Stephen King was directed by Stanley Kubrick. I got to say he made a masterpiece. This is one of my all time favorite movies based on a King novel. I also thought that Jack Nicholson was perfect for the part of Jack Torrance. Jack is asked to be the caretaker for this huge hotel in the middle of nowhere during the offseason which is during the worst winter in a long time and Jack brought his wife and son with him. After being confined for many months Jack begins acting very different. He begins going mad and his wife and son are not as safe as they thought they should be. Sit back for one hell of a good movie that has plenty of scares in store. I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars.
