I had heard so much
about this film in the last couple weeks from people who had screened it
to my friends in London who had already seen it. I had heard people
say that it was the scariest film of all time. I was not
disappointed. It is by far my favorite zombie movie of all
time. Danny Boyle did such an excellent job directing this film in
every aspect from the scenery to the way the "infected"
acted. There were two things I was a little disappointed about and
one was the scare factor. I thought this film had its moments where
I had chills going up my back and one or two moments where I jumped but I
didn't find it to be the scariest film of all time. There were
a few lines of humor in the movie which are always nice in modern horror
nowadays. The acting was excellent. Cillian Murphy, the lead
guy, did an excellent job acting in this film. A+ for him. The
other thing I was disappointed about was I was hoping for them to explain
a little more about the virus and how the people all got infected.
After 5 minutes of the film it was down to just a few people and everyone
else was dead. From the trailer it looked like a good portion of the
movie would be people getting infected but instead it was just the first 5
minutes. However these two flaws I really enjoyed this film and I am
going to give it 4 1/2 out of 5 for being my favorite zombie movie of all
time. |
