Saw

I've been meaning to write
a review for Saw for quite some time now, but because of my busy schedule,
I haven't had the time. I happy to announce that the review for Saw
is right here in front of your very eyes. I rented the movie the
night it came out, and boy was I in for a real treat. This movie
definitely lived up to all the hype and expectation that I was hoping for.
The beginning of the movie jumps straight to the story, with some
well-done acting by Cary Elwes and Leigh Wannell as the lead characters.
The supporting cast was exceptional. The concept of the movie, which is
about a deranged serial killer creates disturbing situations that force
his victims to commit murder was intriguing and was well-thought out.
The film is indeed disturbing with many grisly violent scenes, and the
sound effects just made the scenes more intense and realistic. What made
this movie really good were the many plot twists throughout the movie.
My first reaction was that this movie was
going to be predictable because I thought I'd figured out who the killer
was, but the ending proved me wrong and left my eyes wide open in a state
of shock. This movie has got to be the best horror movie I've seen in a
long time. I give Saw a 5 out of 5. If you have the stomach, I
suggest you go buy or rent this movie right now. It's definitely
worth your time and money. |
